What a Day at The Inflatable Run & Festival Looks Like

When you arrive at The Inflatable Run & Festival, you won’t have to wait in the registration line because your items were sent directly to your door. So you stroll through the entry gate; you look around at all the inflatable attractions, and decide to start with your first 1-mile lap on the inflatable obstacle course. You head to the start line, and after a massive countdown, begin your run with your entire family. You make sure to high-five the MC as you leave the starting gate. You navigate each inflatable obstacle station like a champ, and your favorite is the slide at the end! Once you finish your lap, you decide to o enjoy some of the festival before you do your next lap. Although your kids are ready to do the next lap already, you’re not quite ready, so you check the schedule on the Facebook Event page and see that it’s almost time for the EPIC Water Battle. You rush to the battle area and enter it, not really knowing what to expect. What is a water battle?

Well, you’re glad you decided to find out; pretty much it’s like a massive water balloon battle, but with water sponges that you can reuse, so the battle goes on for a whole 30 minutes! After this is complete, you drag your kids out of there (they could’ve been in there all day) and head to do your second lap! You choose different obstacles this time around, so it’s like a whole new 5k course! After you’re done with the second lap, it’s time to do some inflatable attractions in the festival! You can barely keep your kids together as you choose your first one – the massive zorb balls, aka human hamsters. Your husband has the time of his life in them, as he repeatedly tries to run his hamster ball into yours! You can’t believe how much of a workout those fun things really are! Next you stop by the bounce station for your little one, for kids 5 & under. She bounces around and comes bouncing out ready for the next activity just as the announcer says it’s almost time for the Shirt Signing Party. You grab your family, get some special souvenir shirts in the merchandise store, and head to the Signing Arena. There they pass out hundreds of colorful markers, and before you know it, you’re signing shirts left and right, and your entire families’ shirts are covered in colorful signatures and happy faces. You note to self never to wash this shirt. You head back to the festival and enjoy some more of the inflatables with your family until, finally, it’s time to complete the final lap of the 5K! Once again you head to the start and complete another lap, doing a new obstacle again, so that it’s like a whole new course! As you approach the finish line, it’s time to redeem your family’s medals. Your medal is placed over your head as you watch your kids proudly get their first 5K medals as well. As you head back to the car, after a full 6-hour day, you overhear them talking about how excited they are to come back next year, and pat yourself on the back for a job well done.

What makes The Inflatable Run different from other runs?2018-12-06T19:25:52-08:00

We’re glad you asked, because The Inflatable Run & Festival is a one-of-a-kind event! We are the only 5K to break up the course into 1 mile laps, meaning any age and fitness level can do it, and the pace is completely up to you! You can disperse your laps in between the fun activities and attractions in the festival, or complete them all at once! Our event is also 6 hours long instead of the normal 3/4 hours for other runs, so you get your money’s worth! We are also the ONLY inflatable 5k without any age, height, or weight restrictions which means anybody and everybody in the family can participate. We also ship your registration items directly to your door so that you don’t need to drive on friday to pickup your items or wait in a long registration line on Saturday, you just walk right in. Lastly, we have what has been called the LARGEST Inflatable Festival in the world, with attractions for every age group!

Tell me more about the 5K?2018-10-23T05:27:05-07:00

Instead of a typical 5K course, our course is only 1 mile long and each runner will be able to do three laps around the inflatable obstacle course (3 laps = 5K). There are three obstacle stations, each with three kid-friendly obstacles to choose from. The 5k takes place on paved roads. The course is not on dirt or grass due to the large number of strollers, which can not navigate on grass/dirt. You can choose a different obstacle each lap, or stick with your favorites! Please note that these are kid-friendly obstacles, to accommodate kids of all ages, so they are no larger than 13 feet high. There are also two water stations, so you are never more than half a mile from water.

Can any age kid do the 5k inflatable obstacles?2018-10-23T05:27:52-07:00

Yes! We pride ourselves in being a family-friendly event, and this includes the obstacle course! Most inflatable runs only allow children 8+ to attend due to the difficulty of their obstacles, but our obstacles are fun AND kid-friendly, so bring the whole family. (including grandma!)
